Burning the trash

Where ever you go in Lusaka, you can see and smell the smoke of burning trash. People are burning their garbages in the streets, and sometimes during the night the fires can look quite dramatic. I can't stop wondering how it is possible to control the fire, especially now during the dry winter season.
